Q: Hello,
I have a question about the blackout dates...
How early do the lights get set up if the blackout dates are from December 19th-25th? When is the last day the lights will be up?
-Cheers
Amy

People have actually already started putting up their lights. Usually they start lighting them after Thanksgiving. The lights usually are still up until the First of the Year.

Q: This deal states that it is for a 90 min. holiday private boat rental. However I went on the fine print and it says that the blackout dates are the exact dates of the Newport Beach Christmas parade of lights. Can you help
Patti Anderson, posted November 12 at 7:57 AM
This is for a holiday tour - not the boat parade. The lights will be lit up but the parade is not actually going on, so its a lot less crowded. I myself prefer the Holiday Cruise...This is the one I always go on because I personally don't like to be behind a bunch of boats. The Harbor is Beautiful at Christmas and is a must see!!

Q: I'm assuming this is for the boat parade? This says tour - will there be someone to captain the boat - and if not will we be given instructions on what lane/are we need to stay in to avoid the parade? What is the maximum capacity of the boat (people and weight)

Q: We were wondering if this is a dingy size boat around 6-8ft, or if it is a 10-20ft, or even 30+ft where people can walk/move around? We also wanted to know if this is a self operating tour, or if it is a guided tour with a captain, due to the fact that you are offering passengers to bring and comsume alcohol while on their luxery cruise? We are very interested either way, but it will definately make the difference in who we bring and what we bring. Thank you!

18ft duffy boat - can upgrade to larger boat if need be - The tour is self guided. And yes, you can have alcohol on the boat as long as you are over 21. Driver obviously cannot drink and drive.

Q: $67.00 one time charge for each person or per boat?
dennis, posted November 12 at 7:12 PM
Per boat is $67. However, you can fit up to 8 adults comfortably and 9 ppl if you have children on each boat.

Q: Can we still do this with 5 adults and 5 children?
Elenoreh hull, posted November 12 at 7:21 PM
No, 10 could not ride on the standard duffy. The max on the boat is 9 with children. You would have to upgrade to a larger boat, based on availability and it is $30 up charge.
