Q: Can I send you a photo of the area we need repainted to see if this fix qualifies?
Susan, posted November 20 at 7:40 AM
Sure. That actually works best for me.

Q: What do you mean by 'minorthe scratch'? If scratch wet to metal is that 'minor'?
RJ, posted November 20 at 8:26 AM
Down to the metal is okay. :)

Q: how big of an area can you repair? In addition to some very small areas on different parts of my car I also have a back bumper issue with oxidation, scratches, etc., that has taken over the back bumper. Do you offer that type of work as well for additional fees?
LZ, posted November 20 at 9:12 AM
I'm afraid I can't do much about the oxidation, but once I see it I can refer someone who can fix that sort of thing. It'll need to be resprayed, which is something I do.
As far as the size of area - much of what I do is subjective. I make things look better, prettier and hide issues, so if its too big I can't make much of a difference. Anything much bigger than a quarter is pushing it for me. Fine scratches and rock chips are my forté.

Q: Hi
I have 2 cars of different colors, can both be touched up for the same deal as long as it is within 90 minutes?
How many will be in the touch up crew is it one person 90 minutes?
Thanks
SB, posted November 20 at 10:02 AM
It's very efficient for me to do two cars at once. While the paint is drying on one, I'll start the other.
I work alone - it's just me. I used to have techs do the work but the quality is better when I do the work. I'm actually at the top of my profession. No one does better work and I'm pretty well known in the western US among car collectors - especially Porsche people.

Q: I have minor scratchs all over the car. Will this cover the entire vehicle?
Bil, posted November 20 at 1:37 PM
Yep. Everything that I can find that I can fix. :)

Q: I bought a car that someone touched up in a half dozen places(small scratches covered with the wrong color paint)-can you remove the old paint and cover it with the correct color?
KIm, posted November 20 at 3:33 PM
For you, on this special day... No problem. :)

Q: My son has a "Fixie" bike and the paint is fading--not peeling. The seller said an auto body shop may be able to "powder coat" it. Would you do something like that to essentially repaint the frame of a bike? Thank you.
Lynette, posted November 20 at 4:56 PM
I'm afraid this out of my area of expertise.
Body shops don't powder coat. I do know someone who might spray paint it for you. Let me know of you're interested.

Q: Hi again, do you come to Ladera ranch or mission viejo? Thx!
Jenn, posted November 20 at 6:33 PM
Yes. Ladera Ranch is fine. :)

Q: I assume you need a place with access to electricity to do your work, yes? Does the car need to be washed and clean before you do your work? Thx.
Brian, posted November 21 at 10:29 AM
I rarely need electricity. I find I get better results if I rub out scratches, etc by hand.
And the cleaner the car, the more likely I'll find all issues.
