Q: Do you have to have a wireless modem on your PC or laptop to use this product or can you plug it to the earphones plug on your laptop or PC?

The unit comes with connector to use with a headphone jack in addition to its Bluetooth function.

The manufacturers instructions don't give those specifics but from personal experience I can tell you that mine was totally dead yesterday morning, I charged it for about an hour and used it for at least 2 hours and I've used it again today for 3 hours and it's still going strong.
