Sorry, this unit has a 30pin connector so it is not for use with the mini or the newest version of the iPad 3.

Q: Does it also come with the cables shown on the website? Would I be able to open files on a flashdrive and save them on my iPad?

Provided you have installed the program needed to open the file that is saved on the flash drive you will be able to transfer files from you flash to your iPad. This offer only comes with the 5-in-1 unit. I have inserted a link below for easy redemption.

Q: With this 5 in 1 connection, does this mean I don't need to take out a plan with apple? I don't have a plan and I can only use my Ipad when I am at home, or I am at a place that has internet connection. Does your device allow me to have connection anywhere without a data plan?

Sorry this is not a hotspot. This device allows you to connect a USB or SD card to your iPad.

Go to digital007.com select the 5-in-1 iPad Connection Kit add it to your cart and enter your voucher code in coupon code window in the bottom left hand side of your screen. When you get to checkout your total should be $0.00.
