For centuries, the only way to see a lion and a kangaroo at the same place was to zip across the Atlantic to Africa on a bionic whale and simultaneously teleport Kanga and Roo from the Land Down Under.

We absolutely love visiting the Austin Zoo. We are from the DFW area, but often take weekend trips to Austin when we get the chance and we like to stop at the zoo because we love what they do there. They are a rescue zoo, it is a bit smaller than a traditional zoo, but you get to see the animals much closer and can even feed (for a small fee that is totally worth it) several of the more tame animals, which is always a big hit with my small children. We love that the peacocks and roosters roam free, it is really cool to get a close up look at them! I was glad to see this voucher because we have a family of five so we search for discounts where we can, but I would have paid full price and went anyway if I could not have found this deal. We had a great time at the Austin Zoo and look forward to going back the next time we find ourselves in the hill country.
