Spreebird Sponsors Primo’s Fundraiser Run

 Continuing to fulfill Spreebird's mission of supporting your community, we're proud to be sponsoring the 28th Annual Primo's Run for Education.
Primo’s Run for Education is the primary fundraising event for the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation. The SRVEF has been supporting and fundraising for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District since 1982.
“While the majority of public education funding comes from state and local parcel taxes, these sources are unable to fully fund the programs needed to educate our children for the global, competitive environment in which they will live and work. The communities served by the San Ramon Valley Unified School District understand the importance of maintaining and strengthening the quality public education. Quite frankly, we cannot do it alone, and thus the critical need for support of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation," says Steven Enoch, Superintendent of Schools, San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
Proceeds from the Run will benefit a variety of cutting edge programs such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Classroom of the Future, Professional Development U and more.
"This is a huge event in our area. We have more than 7,000 participants for a half marathon, 5k race and 5k fun run/walk. Plus 600 volunteers come out to help with the school fundraising event," says Sharon Wechsler, Spreebird's Tri-Valley Community Partners Representative.
